Lovely people who care about their guests, nice quiet and small site which is very well looked after, great base for exploring the Vendee. We stayed during August last year and enjoyed our time there. The pitches are a good size, there is a pool and a bar. The showers and toilets are cleaned regularly....[read more]

I have no idea who this person was but we did have a breakdown of our hot water system for a week this year, this was due to the French company who supplied our thermostat for the sanitary block not understanding that if you pay for a 24hr delivery it is obviously urgent, it took 8 days to arrive. however...[read more]

We stayed here from 15th Sept for 5 nights. We are English and do not speak much French, the Lady who runs the campsite does not speak English, but she was extremely helpful, polite and made as feel at home. We stayed in a small mobile home, which had it's own garden, parking space, fence, trees and washing...[read more]

The campsite was ok. Boules pitch great, etc. Security not good though. We got robbed in our tent during the night. The security lights go off at about 11 at night. We ended up with no cameras, no toiletries and no clothes for the rest of our holiday.

How i enjoyed the small pitch, cleaning the BBQ in cold water, showering in cold water, sharing the food with the thousands of flies.... Best of all was the sewer waste that overflows from the fresh water drains all...[read more]
Review by WANDERER, 25th July 2011Huttopia Senonches, Senonches, Eure et Loire
This site is just outside the town, next to a lake well stocked with fish and frogs (which leap into the water as you go past). Although it's on the edge of the forest, sadly the emplacements for caravans and motorhomes are out in the open with no shade. (The strategic location of the trees made it impossible...[read more]

Well what can we say about La Porte? We planned to stay a few nights and then travel around a bit but ended up staying for a full two weeks.
First the positives: Very friendly owners. Helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Excellent toilet/shower facilities. Beautifully kept site in a fantastic location....[read more]
Review by The Elmers, 17th July 2011Camping de Croas-An-Ter, Clohars-Carnoët, Finistere
The campsite was lovely; we arrived to a friendly welcome from the owner who were only to happy to advise on places we should visit while at the campsite. The toilets and showers were immaculately clean, and the grounds were well kept and green. The pitches were extremely large and secluded by surrounding...[read more]
