Situated mid way between Bidart and Biarritz, this site is 650 yards from the nearest beach. Camping pitches are on lawns with trees and bushes with 80 square metres per plot. The site benefits from two swimming pools, a new lagoon style pool opened for 2011.

Quiet, shady camp site with 40 pitches located on the riverbank. On site: tepees and trapper tents to hire, snack food, leisure activities, river fishing, rambling.

Camping Municipal La Falaise, Locmariaquer, Morbihan

Friendly and helpful staff, the food in the bar was very good. Wifi is not free, but uses Orange hotspot. There is telephone box on-site. Toilets and showers were clean and well maintained. Lovely people who care about their guests, nice quiet and small site which is very well looked after, great base for exploring the Vendee. We stayed here from 15th Sept for 5 nights. We are English and do not speak much French, the Lady who runs the campsite does not speak English, but she was extremely helpful, polite and made as feel at home.
